About Resa (Me)

I love to read, write, cross stitch, garden, watch movies (and t.v. shows), make coffee, make tea,and bake things that involve generous amounts of chocolate. When I was younger I was obsessed with Laura Croft so I started growing out my hair until I could do the Tomb Raider braid (which I now can although the obsession faded when I realized no amount of hair would allow me to drop out of school and raid tombs for a living).

Instead of raiding tombs, I acquire and edit books for a living. I live in what sometimes feels like the middle of nowhere with my husband (aka The Programmer), and we pass the time by playing board games, making weird food to try, and debating the philosophical merits of believing in a higher power (like I said, middle of nowhere).

I had to take it down due to a lack of time. I was supposed to be running it with someone else but she wasn’t able to help anymore and with just me and work and finishing school I didn’t have the kind of time I wanted to keep building it. Our last day was August 8th.

Thanks for reading and contributing! I’m very sad to have ended it after only one year but I just couldn’t keep it up.

I love your cross stitching! It’s one of my favorite forms of needle work too. You’ve inspired me to post some of my own work. I hope you come by and check it out when you have a chance at LiteratureVsLaundry.com – Happy Stitching & Reading – Ilene

Thank you so much for all the likes on my blog 🙂 I’m glad you enjoy the reviews. Your cross stitching is amazing, I wish I knew how to do it 🙂

Hello! You are one of the fifteen bloggers I nominated for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. The award says it all, I guess, and I believe you deserve it. Cheers! Congrats! =) — Francis

Do you do any P Buckley Moss cross stitch? I have a couple of patterns my mom got (she was a big fan of Moss) that are languishing on my bookshelf and I would love to pass them on to someone who would enjoy them.
